- NEED IN SITU PHOTOS. In 1930-1936 Trifolium mucronatum was collected from Basin meadows, streamsides, and ditches. In 1939, it was found along a ditch S of Creede. The latest collection, 1955, was along Hwy 114 east of Cochetopa pass. Ackerfield, Weber and Wittmann, and other authorities subsume Trifolium mucronatum under T. wormskioldii var. arizonicum. For T. mucronatum, BONAP shows a distribution largely in Arizona and western New Mexico. There are Rio Grande drainage records from the Big Bend country of Texas.
