- From the Watershed there exist two vouchers of this popular flower-garden peavine: “riparian meadow” SE of Antonito in Conejos Co (1990); “meadows and aspen groves,” Bachelor townsite near Creede (no date, probably 2020, Ken Heil coll). Elsewhere in Colorado the species has a history of persisting after escape from cultivation. BONAP shows the same for nearly every state in the USA, including the Rio Grande drainage counties of New Mexico down to the Mexican border, but not into Texas.
