- NEED IN SITU PHOTOS. Primarily a west-slope NW Colorado plant, Astragalus convallarius may be represented by two records from the Watershed: one in the Alamosa NWR (1924), and the other near the Rio Grande Ranger Station NW of Saguache (1993). Both vouchers should be reviewed. Ackerfield, probably wisely, shows no records from the Watershed. These two Watershed records would be isolated southwestern outliers of a plant whose central range is Utah, western Nevada, southern Idaho, southwestern Wyoming, and northwestern Colorado.
