- NEED IN SITU PHOTOS. Of bunchberry dogwood, there is only two records in the Watershed, from Mineral Co, along the South Fork of the Rio Grande one quarter of a mile SW of South Fork (Komarek, 1995; Flaig, 2003). Ackerfield (2015) shows Conejos Co, with no vouchers in SEINet. Allred et al. (2020) record a few subalpine occurrences in Taos and Sandoval counties of New Mexico, helping establish a Southern Rockies population of Cornus canadensis disjunct from the rest of the distribution in the USA, which runs across the northern states bordering on Canada.
