- Comments
- Maianthemum stellatum occupies a similar habitat to that of M. racemosum but its range is more extensive, from Upper Basin shrubland (Baca NWR) and Lower Basin San Luis Hills up into the subalpine. It has been recorded from the floodplain of the Rio Grande in and around the town of Alamosa. The species follows the Rio Grande drainage through New Mexico to the border with Texas. In the USA, it is found in every state except for Texas and the Deep South.
