- Comments
- Oregon boxleaf is a conifer understory species of the montane and subalpine, in the Watershed chiefly restricted to the south San Juans. The one west-side location is around La Veta pass (see iNaturalist observation #19247419, 2019). There are many collections from the Rio Grande drainage Cristos in New Mexico, where the species follows the Rio Grande drainage down to the Mexican border but not farther down stream. The flower is common in the mountains of all the Western USA states except for Nevada.
