- Comments
- For Symphoricarpos rotundifolius BONAP shows all Watershed counties except for Costilla Co. The distribution in the Watershed is problematic because of the difficulty in separating S. rotundifolius from S. oreophilus. The two species share the same habitat, although S. rotundifolius seems to occur more often in the foothills. The USA distribution is mainly southern California, eastern Nevada, western Utah, Arizona, southwestern Colorado, and New Mexico. The species follows the Rio Grande drainage through New Mexico to the tip of west Texas, no farther down stream.
